I'm not a high-maintenance girl. I don't have an excessive number of shoes...likely, I have as many pairs of shoes as we have bikes. No, they're not all mine, but I like having access to which ever bike (and shoes) I need for the day. My bike wardrobe goes something like:
Casual Friday: Mountain Bike
Race Saturday: My Masi Gran Criterium
Sunday Strolling: Some old-school, vintage roller (Like the ol' Scwhinn Collgieate--not mine, but an example)
Work-out gear: Single speed or Fixed Gear
Business: The commuter
You get the picture. There's a bike for every mood; find yours.
